Will google earth ever go live?

it seems to me that there should be no reason atall why google earth is not live.if it was live then crimes committed outdoors would be extinct cause the police could just track the person on google earth, what plausable reason could there be to not having it live,i know people dont want their privacy invaded but its a bit late for that.|||it would be unethical and very dangerous... so i don't think that any country can allow google earth to be live...|||Google earth will never truly go live. They may get to the point to where they update maybe once a week, but never live. It would make it too easy to stalk people. Even one update per week is a long way off. BTW: The google earth satellite can not see the whole earth at one time. They would need tons of satellites to have it live, and right now, with our technology, it would cost billions. Some believe the US military has this satellite technology, but nobody is absolutely sure if we can be watched 24/7 all year round.|||Not in the near future.

There's no way one satellite could get the whole world updated 24 times per second.

And the street view is completely impossible, that was achieved with a big truck with a panorama camera on it.
