Google Earth?

Google Earth is an extremely good tool. However I live in Essex (UK) and my area is undefined and low res, just a patchwork of green blobs which I assume are fields. Is there anyway to get a hi res image like the other selected areas.|||http://www.flashearth.com try this site but use the microsoft version (click on the left). tends to be good for the uk|||youre like me, i live in Somerset and its all green and blurry, i believe you have to pay ( a lot) to enable total clarity on everything...just out of curiosity check out las vegas...its very clear......|||Part of the problem is that the database for your area probably only includes low res pictures. High res may or may not be available. As someone suggested, you MAY be able to pay to get high res.|||try google maps

maps.google.co.uk

you may find it better|||I had the same problem. But I have never found anything saying when you pay you will get the whole very clear! When you pay you will get advantages as hq printing etc.|||Not yet, unless someone has posted a high-res overlay at a site like the source listed.

However, Google is always adding more high-res images so it probably will become high-res in the near future.

Also note that while you might be able to pay for high-res images from a third party, paying for an enhanced version of Google Earth will NOT make the images any better.
